The second largest island in Thailand and a popular tourist vacation spot for visitors, Koh Samui is surrounded by the spectacular Angthong Marine National Park and lots of small islands in the area that are perfect for a day trip. Before thousands of tourists discovered this place, Koh Samui residents relied upon the plantation of coconuts and fishing. Although there are several beaches on the island, The Chaweng beach is the most popular and includes several outdoor activities. Of course, there is no shortage of bars and restaurants and we all know that in Thailand food is simply amazing.

There are many points of interest that visitors find worth visiting. The Big Buddha is the most famous historical landmark. 12 meters high and covered in gold, this shrine can be seen from a long distance. The two Na Muang waterfalls and the Secret Buddha Garden that is located high in the hills are also included in most of the guided tours on the island. Ladyboys Cabaret Shows can often be interesting and amusing for tourists. They are usually held every week. Keep in mind that November is known as the monsoon season here in Koh Samui, and the best time to visit this island is between December and February.
