Shanghai

Did you know that Shanghai was originally just a small fishing village? Today, it is the largest city in China, and there are more people living here than in the whole of New Zealand.  As soon as you arrive in Shanghai you will understand why some call it the glittering city. Bright and colorful colors are shining with full force in the evening. It is very similar to the western capitals, such as Paris and New York. For a panoramic view over the city, the best place to go is the Jin Mao Tower. It is the 18^th tallest building in the world.

Families with children simply love the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. It is located right next to the Century Park, a giant complex that includes the Century Flower Clock, the Montreal Garden, and the Bamboo Forest. The thing about Shanghai is that it is always changing and venues and restaurants close all the time, so make sure to get an updated version of your destinations. Residents here are simply craving for sweet food, and the interesting thing is that more sugar is used in Shanghai than in any other city in all of China. So if you have a sweet tooth, this could be the place for you.
